Vinyl Application Instructions

1. Make sure the surface that you want to apply your vinyl lettering to, is clean, smooth and dry.

2. Position Your Vinyl Lettering:
Using a level, or ruler determine the exact place you want to put your vinyl lettering (you can make a small mark with a pencil, this will erase with soapy water or on glass you can use a dry erase marker). Position your lettering to the upper edge of the marks. Tape the vinyl lettering to keep it in position. Rub over the lettering with a credit card, library card, finger nail, etc.

3. Remove the Backing Paper:
Flip up the whole quote (the tape should still hold it in place) and slowly peel off the backing. Make sure all the lettering adheres to the transfer tape. If it is not adhering lay the vinyl lettering back down and rub again with your credit card, library card, finger nail, etc. Once removed flip the transfer tape back down onto your surface, making sure there are no wrinkles in the transfer tape

4. Adhere the Vinyl Letters/Graphics:
Rub over the vinyl lettering or graphic to securely adhere them to your surface. It is best if you work from the center and rub out (on both sides).

5. Remove the Transfer Tape:
Carefully, beginning at one side, roll back the transfer tape.

If you have an overlay, repeat the same process. It is a lot more difficult to pull up the vinyl lettering, so be careful to position it correctly and rub the lettering as you pull up the transfer tape.

Your quote is ready to enjoy!

HINTS:
Once the backing paper has been peeled off, DO NOT let the transfer

tape touch anything but the final surface.

Vinyl lettering can be arranged anyway you would like. You can cut the vinyl lettering before you remove the transfer tape and arrange around doors or pictures. Vinyl lettering can also be arched upon request.  The possibilities are endless.

Vinyl Removal Instructions

To remove vinyl lettering, warm up the vinyl using a hair dryer on a low setting. Peel back the warmed vinyl with tweezers, or fingernails, being careful not to rip or peel too quickly. Lettering cannot be used again.

If any glue residue is left on the glass surface simply use either rubbing alcohol or lacquer thinner to wipe it away.
